Bridge test

Prove a Molibra transaction to a contract on your Ethereum network, and release ETH against it. Your wallet signs everything; this page holds no key and the Molibra node holds none of your ETH.

⛔ This is a test rig, not a bridge. It releases ETH against a single Molibra header with valid proof of work — and Molibra's difficulty is small enough that such a header can be mined privately in seconds. Anyone who can do that can drain whatever you put in it. Fund it with an amount you are willing to lose, on a network you do not mind. A real bridge needs a header chain with accumulated difficulty and a confirmation depth, and — before it moves anybody else's value — the written legal opinions this project's compliance file requires.

1. Your Ethereum network

Not connected.

2. Deploy the verifier

Two contracts: the prover (pure verification, no funds) and the test bridge that holds the ETH you send with it.

3. Relay Molibra's headers

This is what makes the bridge worth more than one block of work. The relay checks every header against Molibra's own retarget rule from a checkpoint, follows the heaviest chain by accumulated work, and treats a transaction as settled only once enough work is piled on top of it.

4. Prove a Molibra transaction and release

Any mined Molibra transaction hash. The proof is fetched from this node, but nothing about it is trusted — the contract re-derives the block hash, checks the proof of work, and folds the Merkle path itself.

Through the relay the recipient and the amount are not yours to choose here: they are read out of the Molibra transaction itself, which its sender signed. Build one with encodeBridgeOut in src/bridge.js. The single-header rig below still takes them as arguments, which is exactly why it is only a rig.

Single-header test rig — worth one block of work, see the warning above:
